Grand Raggidy Roller Girls VS Ohio Roller Girls - DOUBLE HEADER!

Saturday, November 21, Michigan VS Ohio State, the real match in Grand Rapids! Your Grand Raggidy Roller Roller Girls host 2 teams from Ohio Roller Girls in the All Stars and G-Rap’s last team match of the season.

The All Stars have matched up against Ohio on three other occasions, all victories. Ohio is looking and more prepared than ever to take home a win. With GRRG WFTDA ranked #10, and OHRG ranked #11, this should be a great match-up. GRRG refuses to get pushed out of that precious top 10.

G-Rap Attack faced Ohio’s Gang Green in last year’s Fall Brawl tournament. G-Rap was a pretty green team at that time, and fell to hard hitting OHRG’s. With G-Rap having a full season behind them and some fresh blood - watch out for retaliation.

OHRG has also been a fierce competitor on the dance floor. We’re sure both teams with be heating up the dance floor following the event at Sazerac!

Date: Saturday, November 21, 2009

GRRG’s welcomes back Costa Lotta Chaos, almost 1 year to date of when she left us to welcome a new baby. The rising star played a partial of the 2008 season with G-Rap Attack! and hasn’t missed a beat. All Stars key jammer Mira MaHeiney had been noticeably missed for the 2009 season, though expect to see this hot star back on the track this fall! We are thrilled to welcome these two skaters back!

Some of our new skaters have finally selected names, so forget about who they were, they’re in the derb now!

Rosie Root Canal (Brandy)
Toast Her Oven (Dawn)
Social Disorder (Mira)
Blake n Blue (Angela)
Twista Fate (Christine

Garden Ho, Rosie Root Canal and Shirley U Jest have been placed and started skating with G-Rap on 9/12! Word up to skaters also in training, Red Hot Redneck and Greedy Reedy!

We love our volunteers! Many thanks to returning staff and new members - Kate and Brian!

Look for her Hot New Girl in the stands this fall, she retired after Regionals. An amazing player and person, she’ll be very missed. Wish her luck and cross your fingers her retirement isn’t forever, I am!

Watch for more updates as in early October — we’ve got a large group joining our September 27, Basic Training!
