On December 4th, two of the best things on skates in West Michigan will converge on Van Andel Arena! Join your favorite roller girls, the Grand Raggidy Roller Girls in the stands, as the Grand Rapids Griffins‘ host the Rockford Icehogs. So get ready to hoot and holler and grab a dog and some beers for a dollar with The Grand Raggidy Roller Girls and watch some great Griffins Hockey!
To make the night even better (Can it really get better?), if you buy a $13 ticket from your Grand Raggidy Roller Girls, you’ll get a chance to sit in sections 207/208. What makes these sections so intriguing? Its where your Grand Raggidy Roller Girls will be sitting (or more likely standing) as they cheer on their favorite hockey team-the Griffs. And you’ll get to watch as between periods the Grand Raggidy Roller Girls get out onto the ice to promote the only sport as tough as hockey-roller derby-and the only sports team in western Michigan as tough as the Griffins-your Grand Raggidy Roller Girls. Also, everyone who purchases a ticket from Grand Raggidy will get a chance to enter a drawing for free stuff including a chance at the Grand Prize, bubble hockey game. At least one person from the Grand Raggidy group is guaranteed to win!
Finally, there’s one more thing to make this night the best night of our long winter (Okay, not better than a roller derby bout, but darn close.), you can buy a blue ($1) or green ($3) puck from your Grand Raggidy Roller Girls. Purchasing these lucky pucks is your chance to participate in Throw for Dough and possibly win $5,000.
Van Andel Arena doors open at 6:00 p.m. and hockey action starts at 7:00 p.m. as the Grand Rapids Griffins take on the Rockford Icehogs.

But make sure you buy your tickets from a Roller Girl as all money raised from ticket sales and Throw for Dough sales goes to support Grand Raggidy.

The fun begins at 6:00 p.m. while the skaters trade in the skates for a set of swords. The fun will continue until 9:00pm.

Calling all GRRG fans and beer lovers!
Join the Grand Raggidy Roller Girls when they guest bartend at HopCat on Tuesday, August 18th, from 6pm-9pm.
We are going to serve up your favorite local brews and promote the upcoming Running of the Bulls event. In addition, $1 from select beers sold be donated back to Grand Raggidy.
HopCat is located at 25 Ionia SW…they have great food so bring your appetite as well.

Free Benefit Show for the Grand Raggidy Roller Girls!
An evening of down and dirty fun with Grand Raggidy Roller Girls and Ten Second March for the release of the new CD “The Path You Chose.” The night will also feature Detroit street punk from The Arrogant Bastards and the new dance rock band The Redlights. There will be raffles for derby gear, tickets, TSM gear and among other fun prizes - $100 in Jukes certificates! The shenanigans start at 9:00 p.m. and continue into last call! Get off your butts and support your local Roller Derby! This is an adults only event, must be 21 to enter.

Grand Raggidy Cuts Loose For Holiday FREE FOR ALL!
Does your holiday wish list include trying something a little out of the ordinary? If so, the Grand Raggidy Roller Girls have just the gift for you.
Grand Raggidy is mixing things up this holiday season with a sure-to-be-entertaining “just for fun” Battle of the Breweries. Skaters from both teams — the Grand Raggidy All-Stars and the G-Rap Attack! — were put into a pool and drafted by the brewmasters of New Holland Brewing Company and Schmohz Brewery (GRRG sponsors and supporters) for the league’s first ever “battle of the dream teams” competition.
This game marks the first time in nearly a year that the Grand Raggidy skaters will face off against one another in a public display of sisterly aggression. For those who miss seeing the rough and tumble Raggidy on Raggidy action, mark your calendars for the Battle of the Breweries on December 13.
Who wants to spend a wintery Saturday night caroling at the neighbors, or shivering in a mall parking lot and fighting over cheap computers at a big box store? Come inside to Rivertown Sports, where the skating action is always hot. What better way to get into the holiday spirit than a rousing game of Grand Raggidy roller derby as you’ve never seen it before? Plenty of surprises and hard-hitting action are in store when this game pits teammate against teammate in the regulation-length bout on the GRRG’s home turf at River Town Sports. Jammers will block, blockers will jam, up is down, and all bets are off.
Ticket prices remain the same — a reasonable $10/$12 for presale (brownpapertickets.com) or $15 at the door. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the action begins at 6 p.m. at Rivertown Sports in Grandville (rivertownsports.com). Rink side seating is first-come, first serve, and all ages are welcome.
