Take Off The Skates And Put On The Sneakers — Schmohz 5k!

On April 18th at 3:00 p.m., the Grand Raggidy Roller Girls will be taking off their skates (don’t worry, it’s just for one day) and putting on the sneakers as they participate in the Schmohz 5K. What can be better than running/walking a 5K on a beautiful spring day with your favorite roller girls? How about doing it at an event sponsored by one of Grand Raggidy’s favorite sponsors? Want more? How about that all the net proceeds benefit the Michigan Special Olympics. Still more? How about that there are prizes given out by age group? More still? Even the kids can participate.
So pull on your sneakers and come walk/run with your favorite roller girls. Or if you don’t feel like participating, come out and cheer your favorite roller derby girls on.

Race Time: 3:00 p.m.
Location: 2600 Patterson Ave, Grand Rapids, MI
Registration: Contact Schmohz Brewing Company to register
Adults - $20 before race day and $25 day of the race (kids - $10).
Net proceeds go to the Michigan Special Olympics. Prizes given out by age division.
