Grand Raggidy All-Stars and the G-Rap Attack! to stake a claim to the midwest!
On March 21st, two Grand Rapids teams—the Grand Raggidy All Stars and G-Rap Attack!—will be hosting two roller derby teams—Indiana’s Bleeding Heartlands and Illinois’s Chicago Outfit . So come support your Grand Rapids roller girls as they defend their home turf against these two teams. But buy your tickets early as our last game was a sellout an hour before bout time. Then once you get your hands on these precious tickets, sit in the front row “suicide seats” that line our flat track and watch our All Stars and Attack! girls check and booty block their roller derby sisters almost into your laps.
This double-header marks the second bout of the 2009 season for both Grand Rapids roller derby teams. But come early as tickets go almost as fast as our jammers—Dot Matrix, Jackie Daniels, and Viva la Boom. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and derby action starts at 6:00 p.m. when the G-Rap Attack! take on the Chicago Outfit . The headlining bout has the All Stars competing against the Bleeding Heartland Roller Girls.
This doubleheader bout will take place at Rivertown Sports in Grandville (rivertownsports.com), just a fifteen minute drive from Grand Rapids.
Ticket prices are $10 for presale at brownpapertickets.com or $15 at the door. Seating (including “suicide seating”) is first-come, first serve, so get there early and enjoy the two bouts and between bout entertainment. All ages are welcome. Food, non-alcoholic beverages, and great roller derby merchandise are available for purchase.
PLEASE NOTE: Online tickets are available from Brown Paper Tickets - presale of tickets ends 24 hours before the game.
